Artist Development

  • The Song School 30 Alexandra Street Southend-on-sea United Kingdom (map)

Wednesdays during term time

6:30pm-8:30pm

Who is this for?

Artist Development is for our most accomplished songwriters, producers, musicians and vocalists’ who are starting to form their musical identity and want to understand more about the skills required for industry.

The weekly class is centred around an album release project. Defined by the participants and with guidance from our coaches, the project will take them through all of the elements of a typical music release including; writing, recording, post production, run up to release including where to release, how to build interest and promote, all the way through to launch and post release promotion.

As well as helping them hone their craft, we will also provide guidance on routes to industry that can include discussions on options in Further Education and understanding all opportunities to work in music.
