Today we will begin with a workshop for our novice musicians (those who have been learning their instrument for at least 6 months) - aimed at those learning an instrument and taking their first steps towards being in a band. The session will include a band jam with some of our senior musicians, learning a couple of the songs they have previously recorded.
This workshop is aimed at singers in our vocal tech 1 or 2 class, or those who are aged 10-15
Aimed at experienced musicians (at least 2 years playing experience) who wants to understand more about the technical process of recording. You’ll be taken through setting up the studio, run your own recording session and get involved in the mixing and mastering process.
Our Music Video Project is back this Easter! We’ll be spending the first week of the holidays writing and recording a brand new original song, then storyboarding and filming the video.
Young people aged 10+ can take part in the whole project or choose to be part of either the writing, recording or they can simply be in the video.
Junior Join the band is aimed at junior instrumentalists - beginners (less than 1 years experience) and those have been playing for a while. They will learn microphone technique; positioning; how to warm-up; what to listen for and how to interact with their sound engineer.
