Who is this for?

This class is aimed at those aged 10+ who already have vocal experience, and can demonstrate knowledge in the latest vocal technique, understand their basics of their own voice and have some performance experience (most start in Vocal tech 1 where they learn all three).

This class is for those who want to learn/improve on all of the above plus, solo/group singing, and performance, with a like-minded group of young performers. We welcome students with an interest in all contemporary styles, including Pop, Indie, Soul, RnB, Gospel, Rock and Soul.

Outline

• Revisit and practise vocal techniques, including breathing, posture, and placement. All are designed to create a solid foundation for the voice.

• Share experiences, challenges and learn how to work with constructive criticism in group feedback sessions.

• Improve performance: students will work towards solo performances throughout the sessions, alongside close harmony work, working with live instrumentalists. You will perform for each other, to build confidence, and prepare an end-of-term performances
