Volunteer Caretaker

For just a couple of hours a week you can help with the transformation of our music school for the children and young people of Southend.

Volunteer Caretaker wanted to help with the odd jobs that always seem to exist!

This volunteer role is for someone who loves a bit of light gardening and is a bit handy with a drill! The role includes weeding and tidying our garden, ready for use in 2024 and carrying out odd-jobs like re-touching paintwork; simple repairs; putting up shelves and tidying cables.

The Song School is an extra-curricular music community in the heart of Southend. We have a regular weekly timetable of music classes for all ages and abilities, plus offer financial support for children from low-income families to be able to learn.

As a volunteer, you will become a valued member of our community and gain experience working around families, children and young people.
