The Song School welcomes Andrew Reynolds to the board, replacing Neil Thompson as he heads off with his family on a new adventure in New Zealand.

Andrew is the European Chief Executive and Global Board Director of Rider Levett Bucknall (RLB), a global real estate professional advisory consultancy business operating in the built environment. Andrew brings an expertise in strategic and operational planning to support The Song School to achieve it’s aims to provide more opportunities for Children and Young people to make music.

Outgoing Non-Executive Director Neil says; “It’s been an honour to support The Song School over the past three years and to work alongside Louisa and the team, whose energy and commitment have created something truly special. The Song School plays a vital role in our community, opening up music to children and young people from all backgrounds. Both of my children attend and love every minute of it - it’s a place they’ll miss deeply and so will I. I am delighted to hand over to Andrew and I know the organisation will thrive with expertise and passion behind it”.

Of his appointment Andrew comments “as a lover of the arts, and a failed drummer (!) supporting The Song School brings the opportunity to bring together my absolute passion for supporting the development of others.  Louisa and the team at The Song School undertake fantastic work bringing the opportunity to get involved in music regardless of background and I am honoured to be able to support everybody involved.”

Founder and Director of The Song School Louisa says; “we’re incredibly grateful to Neil for all of his valuable insights and support for TSS over the past three years and wish him well in his new adventure! Andrew brings with him some similar insights, as the parent of young musicians, but also as a business leader. He also brings extensive board experience so we are excited to utilise his expertise in the next phase of our development”

Welcome Andrew and Bon Voyage Neil!
