Support a year of music-making for young people in Southend
The Song School Fund helps us level access to music for children and young people - so cost and circumstance never decide who gets to belong, learn, and thrive.
-
So children and young people from low-income households can attend The Song School - and so we can keep class costs as affordable as possible for everyone else.
-
In a world built for the neurotypical, we’ve re-imagined music education so those who think differently can thrive.
-
that benefit our whole community - including building our sensory garden and exploring upgrades to three of our studios to improve sound during rehearsals.
The Song School’s mission is to level access to music for all children and young people, regardless of circumstances - so everyone can experience the benefits of learning and playing music, including enhanced confidence, self-esteem, improved mental wellbeing and academic aspirations.
