4:30pm-5:30pm: Junior Beginners (5 - 9 year olds)

Junior Group Drums is for children who want to learn the necessary skills to play drums.

The class is for complete beginners and is structured to help your child learn right from the start with the goal of being able to jam along to their favourite song in no time. We will supply the drums during the class and some handy practice tips that won’t require a full kit, at this stage!

Class Outline for your child

• Introduction to rhythm and the role of the drummer in a band

• Introduction to Music Theory from a drummers perspective

• Learn about the instrument, including what all the components are called, and how they all work

The children do not need to be able to read music to attend this class: everyone will be guided and taught as we go.
