Estuary Walk 2024

  • Leigh-on-sea Station Belton Way East Leigh-on-Sea, England, SS9 United Kingdom (map)

On the 22 August we’ll be embarking on a 10 mile walk to raise money for The Song School Fund ahead of the new academic year starting.

About the fund

Funds raised through this and all initiatives go towards free class places for children in low-income households and keeping class costs affordable for everyone else; new instruments, repairs and upkeep, plus studio repairs, upgrades and maintenance at our facility in Southend - the latter benefits our whole community.

The Song School’s charitable aim is to level access to music making for all children and young people regardless of circumstances, so all can experience the benefits associated with learning and playing music such as enhanced confidence, self-esteem, improved mental wellbeing and academic aspirations.

The route

We will begin at Leigh-on-sea station, taking the coastal route all the way to East Beach, making several pit stops along the way AND including a walk up and down the pier to make it up to the 10k.

You can get involved by taking part, donating via the link below or simply being there to cheer us on! To find out how to be part of the walk email olly@thesongschool.co.uk
