Workshops
We run music workshops during every half-term and School holidays and alongside some events, like our monthly open mic. We publish all workshops on this page.
Summer: Encanto Music & Singing Workshop
This workshop is aimed at children ages 5-9, who are loving the songs from the new film: Encanto. We’ll have fun across the day learning to sing, play and perform them.
No instrument playing experience required, though we will thoroughly encourage those who can.

Music Video Project (Beginner musicians/songwriters)
This Summer, we’re offering band and songwriting sessions for beginners to learn the basics in a group setting. These sessions are aimed at ages 10 to 15, who are complete beginners; through to those with less than 1 year playing/writing experience.
Summer: Art in Music Project
We’re thrilled to welcome local artist, musician and friend of The Song School; Darren Jones as the lead on a new exciting project this summer: Art in Music. Darren will work with the students to help them access their artistic side, through listening to and playing music and removing any filters so they can just paint!
